Founded in 1923 by Joseph Roth as a Chevrolet dealer on South Broadway in Yonkers, Yonkers Motors has always been synonymous with trust and value. In 1970 Roth's daughter, Joy Gelb, heard that a new brand of small, fuel efficient cars called Honda was going to be made available in the US. She immediately recognized the great potential, and became one of the first Honda dealers in New York. A driving force in the automobile industry, Joy quickly became one of the fastest growing dealers in the area, creating a loyal customer base where families have returned time after time to purchase cars. Her philosophy of providing quality products with top notch service and integrity remains the same today and permeates all the facets of her business.
The dealership has continued into the third generation, with Bob Feinberg, Joy's son in law, as General Manager. Gaye Feinberg, Joy's daughter and Bob's wife, is in the service department. Bob worked at American Honda before joining the Yonkers Honda staff, and brought along his vast wealth of knowledge to the already respected dealership.

I want to take a moment to mention my excellent and painless buying experience with Richard Stein, the Internet Sales Manager. He was honest and forthright and gave me a fair price that he did not go back on, nor did he play games like some other sales people do, needless to mention that his price was the lowest among all dealerships in the area and lower than if you walk-in into the same dealership. He was very knowledgeable, and did not pressure me into anything and made sure that he explained us everything and made us comfortable. He is the only reason I would go back to Yonkers Honda again. I had only heard of no-haggle dealerships, if you deal with Richard Stein, you will truly have a no-haggle ,pleasant experience. He even got me a good price on my trade in. Great experience!

I was impresssed by the way the young man at the desk greeted me and handled my transaction. It was a Saturday and he was alone attending to a line of customers, but he maintained his composure and was quite calm and friendly explaining in detail all that was going to be done to my car.
